I would like to hear from any member of this forum who has applied or has successfully obtained Permanent Residence through the Federal Entrepreneur Visa class.
If you could share your experience, e.g. which visa office you used, your time line, or any tips you can give which could be helpful to others.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I applied under federal entrepreneur in Sept 2007 from Port of Spain Trinidad. AOR was received in Oct 2007, Docs requested Dec 2011 and submitted March 2012. Have not heard anything since.

The problem though is that the federal entrepreneur class has been suspended until further notice as they are in the process of revamping the system so I dont think that this can be an option for you. The average processing times in this class has been 5 - 8 years.

Hope this helps.

Hi sckel,
Thanks for responding to my post. I applied in 2009 for the Federal Entrepreneur Visa through the London visa office . When I applied , the average processing time for London was 30 to 36 Months (2 1/2 to 3 years). At the moment processing time is shown as 48 Months (4 years). I am still waiting to hear from them.
I just wanted to hear from any members who had applied, so we could share our experience and give any advice if needed.
Thanks again.

My AOR letter also stated that processing would have began 36 - 48 months after. On the 3rd day of the 49th month, I went in to our consulate to enquire about my application and they told me I had to send in a request by email. I did that and they replied saying that they were prioritizing other applications based on Ministerial Instructions dated Feb 2008 and June 2010 and as a result they could not give any idea of when my application will be processed.

I then replied to them pointing out that MI June 2010 clearly stated that older applications were being processed under existing priorities.

One months later, I received my documents request.
