Federal Application after CSQ (GCC applicants) Let share experience...

Dear Friends,

Could anybody share the experience....
I applied for federal part after CSQ...my application reached at CIC office by 12th Nov 2012....till date I did not get any information from them.... how much time does CIC take to send application receipt? any idea?

Hello,
I already Got CSQ from Montreal we (me and my husband) are on work permits and applying for PR from inside canada. My husband has valid work permit till 2015 but as we don't have any plans o go back home in near future he doesn't have any visa stamp on his passport. My question is do we need to apply for his TRV before sending application For Federal or its Okay as we don't want to go back so we don't need TRV on his passport? Please HELP!

my cic status is Application received, 4 May 2012 and Medical has been received.
I am wondering that, people who applied and their application received in months after august 2012, most of them have got their p.r.
But people, with status like mine are still waiting for psprt request !

Does any one knows what's going on ?

hey same is here, my application recieved date is 24th april 2012 and mdical has ben alrady expird on 20th jun 2013.............still waiting......hope for ll the best

medical can be extended for 6 months.

by the way you got your medical quickly after 3 months from csq

Well for my family and I, we sent everything after receiving our CSQ "as a Quebec Skilled Worker" last October to the Ottawa office, and we did our medical checkup at the end of December 2012. Since that time we didn't do anything and we weren't getting any useful info regarding our file.
Recently, last June, we received an email from the embassy here in Cairo telling us that the file is here in Egypt and should be processed in turn.
Since that e-mail we didn't receive anything from them, although we sent the Cairo Office and the Ottawa office like millions of mails, but we are not getting any replies from them yet.

Does anybody in here know when should we expect them to contact us or if they contact us will they need anything new from us except the fees?

My concern is the WHEN will they may contact us. We did our interview on May 2012, so it has been a very long time since then. Any help?
 
Anybody in the same situation. I received my CSQ within 6 months after applying for one (skill worker). I initiated my Federal application beginning of April 2013. Completed my medical in mid June 2013 and paid landing fee. Medical received line appears in my file. Since June no updates. I contacted Ottawa office but received general responds. " You file in Ottawa and waiting for officer to process your aplication, bla... , blaaa, blaaaa, no other information given. What is usual time after CSQ received to pass federal, consider that I live in US and hold American citizenship.
