Hello and good day to all.
I hope I am not overthinking this, cause i'm a bit worried, and here is my situation.
On June 2016 we received a letter from the immigration stating that my aunt is eligible to sponsor me. In that letter it also stated that I can do an upfront medical exam. After receiving that document we proceeded on filing/sending my application without doing the upfront medical exam, because I always assumed that the process is step-by-step. I also received my AOR on the same month and year. On September 2016, I was advised that they started processing my application. They also required me to submit additional docs which I already did. Then after that, no more update from immigration.
Now my question is, should I be worried that I did not do the upfront medical exam? Will the immigration send me the MR instructions and form 1017e?Because when I tried to do the upfront yesterday (1-31-2017), the medical center would not process me because of the new medical examination process that took effect on December 15, 2016. The new process states that if you're application is under workers, students, visitors and express entry then you can go for an upfront medical, if not, you need to wait for the instruction and form 1017e from the immigration.
Thank you all and I hope someone would help me/give insight on this.
