FBI payment went through!!!!

The FBI payment went through on my card! How much longer is the wait, in your experience?

Also-- I got married in Toronto on Saturday... with all of the stress and 'bad news' we see on here sometimes, it's good to have good news and a reminder of why we're going through all this in the first place

Mid Feburary.. I had read that the payment going through just meant a couple of more weeks.. I hope so! The payment went through 3-31

To answer my own question, it came today!! So about a week after the payment went through.. about 6 weeks total! That's fast! I also live in WV, the same state where the center is, so that may have cut down on mailing time, etc. Yay

I thought they said they weren't expediting the FBI requests.
Did you write on the outside of the envelope when you needed it back? If so, what date?
Mine arrived on March 19th and I gave them my Fedex account number so I am hoping that will cut down on time since I am having it mailed to Canada. I asked that they send mine back April 19th.

All in all, I am so glad to hear that they are getting faster at the FBI requests again. Maybe this a sign for us all.

Thanks I had written March 31st on the envelope and that's the day they processed my payment, so maybe.. although I called last week and he said I wouldn't be in the system for another month because they weren't expiditing background checks anymore... hmm.
