FBI fingerprints.

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know whether the fingerprints for the FBI have to be on cardstock or is regular paper ok?

If you go to the FBI website, they will have a form that you can print off that you can use to have your fingerprints done on. Hope that helps!

FBI website doesn't specify whether they need it on cardstock or not.

If you're going to a local police, etc for fingerprinting, and if they ask you to bring along a fingerprint card, you'd better confirm with them if they're ok with regular paper or if they need it on cardstock.

The sheriff office that I went to, the officer didn't like regular paper and insisted me to pick up the fingerprint card from FBI office. Luckily the FBI office was just 5 mins away.

I just got mine done today. I printed it off on regular paper and they didn't flinch at it at the RCMP!
