Does anyone know how long it is going to take to get FBI clearance certificate?
I stayed in 2 states (Texas & Michigan)...does it take more time if I stay in multiple states? I have sent my docs to FBI on Feb 27th...Does it really take 16-18weeks as they mentioned in their website. In that case, I might run out of 90 days time to submit my documents ... :(

FBI clearance is centralized. So, multiple impacts will not impact the timelines. Yes.. it will be take between 12-16 weeks in best case. If you are running out of time, you can submit the application with LOE explaining and the proof that you have requested FBI PCC and it's getting delayed. You will update them, once you receive it.

Their current processing time has reduced to 10 weeks. As per posts on this forum, they are currently processing packets received around 16th Feb.
