My husband is American, but we both currently live in Taiwan. We are applying to immigrate to Canada with our two children. I have filled out all the necessary forms and we are waiting to get his FBI check. Can we send our application in before we get the FBI check back and then send it when we have it? Also, our panel physician is asking for an IME number, but I don't know if this is possible without having started the application. Any insight? Thanks.

If you plan to apply outland, you must submit FBI check in with the application. Applying inland gives you the option to submit the FBI report at a later date when CIC asked for it.

As for IME number, I can't answer that question as it sounds like an eMedical related question as medical reports are now done electronically. My wife's medical wasn't done through eMedical at the time.
