Father's name incorrectly spelled in the Engineering Degree Certificate

I am in a terrible condition and seek your assistance in getting out of it. I have a small issue with my Engineering Degree Certificate, My father's name is not correctly spelled in my Degree Certificate.

My Father's name as per my Passport and Marksheets is "BHUPATSINH" whereas in Engineering Degree certificate it is spelled as "BHUPATBHAI". I afraid if WES issues their report with my father's name as "BHUPATBHAI" (as per my engineering certificate), can i submit an affidavit along with the WES package that the name is "BHUPATSINH" only and not "BHUPATBHAI" to avoid further problem. Will i have to send an affidavit along with my academic document to WES for their consideration?

it should bepossible to correct your name at school records, once corrected, go for ECA

WES certificate doesn't mention fathers name. It states what is the Canadian equivalency of your education abroad. So go ahead with ECA.

Unless there is any discrepancy in your name, you need not worry. Your ECA will have your name as per the educational records. It will not have your father's name.

Hi All,

I have incorrect name in my Bachelor and Master degree (Darshaan) but in my SSC, HSC and school leaving certificate has correct name (Darshan). Even my other identification document like passport, Aadhar card etc has correct name (Darshan). WES already state (in faqs) that they will put educational certificate name (Darshaan) which is incorrectly spelled. Now university has denied to reissue the marksheet and degree certificate with correct name.

If WES approve and state my incorrect name while passport has correct name. Does it really create name problem in express entry scheme for me?
Do i need to present additional document in express entry scheme documents (affidavit/gazette document)?
