Fate if not nominated through PNP

Hey guys, I am new here and also in the process entirely, I am considering the PNP route but I like to know what happens if one doesn't get a nomination. Does it end the entire process? Or is it sure one will get a nomination provided your CRS score is high. Pardon my ignorance. I hope i get clarity

If you don’t get nominated then you don’t immigrate. PNPs are based on not only CRS scores but in demand NOCs, job offers, scores where provinces have own scoring system, family in that province etc.
