debrajaddya - Approved in 80 days - New Delhi, India
casalim - Approved in 160 days - - New Delhi, India
alicat -Approved in 192 days - London, UK
Traveler - Approved in 193 days - Pretoria, South Africa
lucycrow - Approved in 172 days - London, UK
hardikshah01 -Approved in 115 days - - New Delhi, India
narinder1981 - Approved in 116 days - New Delhi, India

None of these cases have any earth shattering qualificaton , but sheer speed of consulate has helped

I noticed that about new delhi office under the new rules (super fast) unlike Buffalo office (super slow).

People who apply on new delhi are are really lucky under the new rules.

Buffalo office is very funny i have seen on the following link that they take 13 month to process an application :

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/buffalo-t23693.0.html

They made the new rules to make the whole immigration system step forward and Buffalo visa office steps backward !!!!!!!!

I hate to hear this that buffalo is getting slower and slower but its true!

Oh no! Why now! If I knew this before then I would have requested my home country visa office to handle my application. But I am not losing my hope to Buffalo...hoping for the best!

=)

Actually i don't care too much about the visa office that will process my application because the visa office which serves my country of nationality was too slow like a turtle under the old rules and still very slow under the new rules so it doesn't matter.

Folks, due to recession some of these people went back to India who was working in US, they applied immediately and got selected, this is one of my thought.

Buffalo is no where near because it is clearing up the In-Canada applicants.

debrajaddya info is incorrect...

definitely incorrect information. i think you have received initial assessment from Nova Scotia. and have not submitted your full application yet. your agent is using wrong terminology with you... Beware of him!!!

pls confirm.

Don't mean to be negative or rude but something just does not correspond with your dates. How could u receive AOR and application approval on the same date. Did u submit all docs? Did u do medicals and IELTS etc? What exactly did u submit?

You are right, I got my dates wrong. I just recd. the file number on Aug 11, wasnt sure.. still orienting myself with next steps. I need to give IELTS and do Medicals, which im working on.

I share this view as well.

Iam presently in US under Dependant Visa. After seeing all these entries Iam actually not sure which Visa office should I prefer. As Iam in US can I give New Delhi office as the preference ? Please help...

i think you can.. But In the long run Buffalo is easier and better (lot of hassles related to mailing/fedex etc will go away)

I have my doubt, for a US Resident if the case will be taken up by New Delhi Visa center. Just make sure before you process.

Max

Yeah right , but we may move to india in another few months, then in that case Iam not sure what to do
