WES is faster than others..

Can I send photocopies of my transcripts to WES ? Coz I have them scanned in my computer, very clear copies.

Or I have to contact my college again back home for them to send to WES?

Hi

Can I send photocopies of my transcripts to WES ? Coz I have them scanned in my computer, very clear copies.

Or I have to contact my college again back home for them to send to WES?

1. Read the WES instructions https://www.wes.org/ca/help
2/ We do not accept documents electronically. All documents must be mailed to us in a sealed envelope. Please view the required documents for the country where you studied for detailed instructions.

My sister is getting ready to apply for express entry. She got her assessment done 2 months back. you have to do little running to your college/university but after that the process is smooth. She went to Pune university, explained the people there why she needed it. They understood quickly because I believe she was not the first person asking for it. They put the seal and signature on each marksheet and degree certificate. Then they put it in a university envelope. The place where the envelope closes they put a seal again there after sticking it with glue. Then they stamped 3 seals on the front side of the envelope (no idea why). finally it was couriered to WES and she got her assessment report.

I just used this tool..

https://applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool/

I filled up my Bachelor of Science degree and the result is..

"Equivalency in Canada: Completion of secondary school education and Community College Diploma (2 years)"

Is this tool accurate? If yes, should I just skip for having my degree evaluated?

Thanks in advance

And one more thing, there is also Option 1 which states..

"For completed, incomplete, and in-progress study, ask the institution you attended to send your document directly to WES."

This is better since they will directly send it to WES and no need for extra cover stamps or signature.

Why do you need the assessment?

Bec I have a bachelor's degree from outside canada and a 2 year diploma from Canada.

And I heard that they give extra points if I have finished degree outside Canada

for express entry???

for express entry???

Yes Canadian Experience Class (Express Entry)

I was thinking, if my foreign bachelor's degree is only equivalent to 2 years canadian diploma, I can just not have my foreign degree evaluated and just apply without my foreign degree. What do you think?

Btw, I do have Canadian 2 year diploma also.
