Hi everyone,

I haven't seen my parents and brother for more than 6 years. I'm planning to apply for a visitor visa for my mom and brother ( about 40 years of age, not working). My dad cannot come with them he has to watch his property any my brother cannot stay with dad alone, he's dependent on my mom.

So I have no chance of visiting them, as I have 2 year old child who's recently been diagnosed with Autism, he's registered for a bunch of programs right now.

It'd be awesome if they can come and visit me here, it'd be a huge emotional support for me and my husband.

What do I need to mention in the application? Do they come just to see me here or to support me?

No - don't mention that they are coming here to support you. This may cause CIC to become concerned that they have plans to remain in Canada long-term.

If your mother and brother haven't traveled extensively - I would request a 2-3 week trip only.

1. They're planning to stay for about 2 weeks. Do I need to mention that my father has diabetes and my mom takes care of him? Is that a good reason that they cannot stay here for a long time?
2. And do I need to mention that I am not able to travel right now as my child gets therapy here?
