1. From what time onward he can apply for our sponsorship (wife and child).

2. How long it will take me and our child to get PR status.

1. He can apply anytime provided he is living in Canada and is not in violation of the PR residency requirement.

2. Approximately 1 year.

Can sponsor anytime if the PR

• were not sponsored by a spouse or partner and became a permanent resident less than five years ago
• did not sponsor a previous spouse or partner and three years have not passed since this person became a permanent resident
