Do you have a spouse, children or living parents/grandparents?
In that case, your options are extremely limited. Is your brother an orphan and a child?
The answer in that case is no. You are NOT eligible to sponsor a brother under these circumstances.

- you don't have a living relative you could sponsor instead, such as a:

- brother or sister
- uncle or aunt
- nephew or niece
- you don’t have any of the above-named relatives who is:
- a Canadian citizen
- a permanent resident
- registered Indian under the Indian Act
