Hi All,

I am new to this Forum so not sure if I am posting in the right place. My son is 23 years of age and is a fully qualified and certified Carpenter. He also has 9 months junior foreman experience. We live in Ireland but my daughter has lived in Canada since birth for the last 34 years. If my son wanted to live and work in Canada would my daughter be able to sponsor him or should he go the LMO route if he can get an employer to hire him? How long does either option take? Or does anyone know will there be employment visas issued for Ireland next January? I would be grateful for any advice.

1. No she can't sponsor him.
2. He needs an employer and a LMO, unless he applies under the IEC (working holiday program) when it re-opens for 2014 LMO after advertising 6-16 weeks for approval.
