We have applied for Spousal Sponsorship staring of 2016 and waiting for response from Immigration Commission, finally by end of 2016 we got Interview letter to be attended in New Delhi by Jan 2017.
My Husband is a Canadian PR, and insisted me to maintain all documentation very clearly along with backup, We have saved each and every flight Tickets, Boarding passes, Photos, What’s app chats, Skype history, Facebook history, Telephone history, Bank transactions, and any of my document where reference of My husband has been provided and vice versa and Our Insurance papers as Nomination. we ended up on an around 2000 pages of document proofs with in a span of a year. And we have taken 400 photographs of being together majorly of wedding which is again a not lavish ceremony. I personally feel we should carry as many proofs as possible, do not thing anything as not required. Remember every small document helps in one way or other.
My Immigration Officer spoke to me about my academic career, our relationship, its development and many questions as generally listed by people in the forum. After personally interviewing me and my spouse, she has declared her satisfaction with respect to genuinely of the relationship. However unfortunately my medicals were expired, now I have submitted my medicals and waiting for further action from Immigration office end.
I am writing this article because I have read may articles and understood importance of all the above thing and want you also to ensure and be alert and put your efforts in making a genuine file more evident rather than putting efforts after files gets stuck for some reason.
Important Points
1. Take backup of complete whatsapp ( I had more than 1500 pages of history for 18 months and got it printed)
2. Spend money on Photographers and goods marriage with all relatives rather than spending it on unnecessary things.
3. Couldn’t get appropriate skype history, however we have taken each page screen shot of it, it was hard work but trust me it pays.
4. All telephonic calls, International Internet calling etc
5. Sometimes people are bad in remembering the dates/names etc, but please put your efforts to memorize every possible important dates, when you met your spouse, when proposed, where proposed, when he immigrated, where he lives, works, earns, likes/dislikes, family members their names etc.
6. Most of the cases PR candidates get married and spend some time with spouse and family and leave spouse here and apply for file and await for interview/ conclusion, how is it possible to understand each other at distance in much better way, try to live together in whatever way because nothing can bond the relationship than being together, then you find 90% answers for Immigration questions. In my case my visitor visa rejected, it leads to my husband to leave the work and come here and staying with me for 6 months, which lead to success of my file.
