Hi

French citizen, I married a canadian citizen in 2012. i settle down with him in nov 2013 after a visa validation in July 2013. Due to a psychological abuse and financial neglect i didnt stay the required 2 years and requested an exception to the CIC Centre.

Today my PR is under the decision of future hearing session. in the mail i received the full file and the report a immigration officer made after a first interview last month.

What are your advice for the hearing?

in the report, i noticed big documentation mistake (my education, the name of persons who witnessed the abuse mispelled,my declaration misinterpreted,..). Can I report question the competency of the officer, the accuracy of the report? if yes, to who?

Thank you for your answer.

Any advice we give you here will be pure guesses based on no real experience.

To the best of my knowledge, you are the first person on this forum who is actually going through this hearing process as a result of the introduction of Condition 51.

Are you working with a good lawyer?

Good luck - I hope things work out for you.
