Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism has announced intended cuts to family reunification from 16,000 in 2010 to 11,000 this year. This could increase wait times dramatically.

Please join me on Facebook: Parents Sponsorship Canada

We need to JOIN Forces and force the Conservative Party of Canada to allow our parents in joining us in Canada.

Stop being anonymous, we have to use our Real Names and stand up to Stephen Harper, Jason Kenney and the Conservative Party of Canada.
They do NOT give a crap about us or our parents.

Lets unite and say "NO" to the Conservative Party of Canada.

I agree. We have to have our voice heard. The only way we can do it if we are united( Like the one for CRTC ban on internet usage; they made it happen).
The point they make is that parent will not contribute to the economy and will take only benefits. But we work hard here, pay enough taxes to be eligible to sponsor parents. We deserve a family life like any others. Moreover with our parents aside, we can do more and so does our future generation.
Now it seems that there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

BTW I joined the FB page.

I will send email to Kenny tonight and will share the email with you all. I think we all should send email to him.
