To anyone reading that has had prior experience or knowledge of this, I have a query. I have done searches on the forum to find similar situation but couldn't gather relevant information, so I thought I would ask.

My close relative completes a year in August and I will get the points that will elevate my SINP profile to minimum threshold. Right now (end May) I am falling short of that. If ITA is sent out, I will have 60 days to prepare proof of documentation. By then, the points will be above the minimum threshold.

Should I wait till August to apply or can I apply now onwards, will there be any potential complications to applying before I actually qualify? Two months will make a significant difference to the duration of processing times so I wanted to make the swiftest, best decision.

Please do let me know if you can, I appreciate any help! thank you.

You can apply now as long as you don’t submit application until after a year of PR for relative. Assume PR is in Saskatchewan, and meets SINP requirements. Who is close relative?

The close relative is my brother and I am the prime applicant. Yes he is in Saskatchewan, and will complete 1 year stay in August.
So this means I can go ahead with applying for EOI now itself, and then wait till after August to submit application (if I get ITA)?
sorry if I'm not wording this correctly, I'm still figuring out all the different abbreviations!

You can but if you get invitation, and your deadline is before his year in Saskatchewan then you will have to decline, submit another EOI and wait for another draw.

Thank you, I will keep this in mind while submitting the EOI.
