Hello members, I’m looking for some guidance around attending the oath ceremony. We applied together as a family in January and our AOR is Feb-6. Background cleared in February, Test was marked as completed on Mar-25 and waiting for LPP since then. My spouse and kid needs to travel outside Canada for a few weeks after Canada Day. At this point, it seems there is not enough time for them to get the Canadian passport before travel. However, I will be here and do not want to reschedule the Oath ceremony if it happens to fall during their travel as I need to travel to the US in September assuming the Oath is done by then. Is there an option for them to reschedule their oath ceremony while I attend it as scheduled or should all of us attend it or reschedule it together?

If the kids are below 14, they don't need to attend the ceremony. Just be there yourself and you and the kids will become Canadians. Your wife will then be invited to a new ceremony, which she better not miss, as she only has 2 chances, and be ready to be patient, a reschedule may take months.
