Hi,

My father is applying under the Skilled Worker Class in Canada, and if he will be employed, is there a chance that he can get us even if we, his daughters, are 23 years old now? Thanks in advance.

He can include his daughters in his FSW application as dependent children if:

his daughters were depended substantially on the financial support of him since before the age of 22 on him and continuously been students since before the age of 22 :

(A) continuously enrolled in and attending a post-secondary institution that is accredited by the relevant government authority,

and

(B) actively pursuing a course of academic, professional or vocational training on a full-time basis,

or

(c) is 22 years of age or older and has depended substantially on the financial support of the parent since before the age of 22 and is unable to be financially self-supporting due to a physical or mental condition.
