Good evening to all! My hubby received an acknowledgement receipt last October 26,2012 from Processing Centre Mississauga then the following 2 days he received another notification that he is illegible to sponsor and our application was already forwarded to CEM when I checked our application status no result found and it's more than 60 days now. Is anyone here same with my status? any feedback or comments please..thank you!

Did VO tell you what are the reasons your husband was illegible ?

Because your husband is not eligible to sponsor you, the visa officer in Manila will refuse your PR application. You can then appeal.
Why was he found ineligible to sponsor? If it is something that would be easy to fix, it might be better to cancel the current application and submit a new one; or you could send proof to the visa officer that whatever was causing the ineligibility no longer applies, if that is the case.

The OP can clarify, but I think the word intended is "eligible" and the OP's question is concerning how long the process is taking . . .

I also think so. Word 'eligible' is likely spelled wrong. unmeritedfavor, can you clarify if your husband has been approved to sponsor

I'm sorry for wrong spelled. Yes my husband is eligible to sponsor me according to the correspondence from the case processing centre Mississauga and it was already forwarded to Manila Embassy, the letter dated October 29,2012 and up to this time I haven't receive any feedback from the CEM.

Hello unmeritedfavor:

Processing time at Manila office is 11 months - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp - Though your file is transferred to Manila, there must be other files before yours. So I am sure you will hear from the CEM? (I guess this means Embassy of Canada in Manila?) as turn for your file comes.

Take Care.

To Rajaji: thank you for your reply. May i ask if we have the status of application? yes I saw it in the website it takes 11 months for the process, But I heard a lot of sponsorship process it takes less than 6 months so am a bit confused now. my hubby received a notification that our application was already forwarded to CEM -Manila, Philippines.

Processing times on the CIC website are for the average time taken to process the applications in past 12 months and just give an idea how long it takes. Current processing times can be shorter or longer. As you mentioned some or many applicants got their cases finalized in 6 months or even less, it may well happen for your application also. You have to wait till local consulate starts processing your application. Hope it will happen soon.

Take Care

You still have some time to wait. Take a look at the Manila spreadsheet and you will see that passport requests are arriving between about 100 days to 140 days since sponsorship approval.
