Hi,

When selecting the dependent type in IMM0008 do i pick the dependent type based on dependent`s age at the time of application submission(which was in 2010) or their current age?

With their current age they are both over 22 but at the time of application submission they were both under 22.

so Dependent Type A or B?

Thanks

Umm you need to explain a bit more . Are they asking for new information ??

Thanks for your response

no i am filling out the the paper work for 90-day-letter i received from CIC and in IMM0008 i need to define dependent type for two of my brothers who will accompany to Canada

When we submitted our application in 2010, my brothers age was 17 and 21 and now they are 23 and 27. They are still studying and are fully dependent on my father (principal applicant)

Should i pick dependent type A or B? do i evaluate the dependent type based on my brothers age at the time when i submitted application(in 2010) or based on what their age is now.

Our application was delayed and that`s why i am filling this information now.

Thanks,

sorry i didnt get back to you . Canuck is correct .

Hello Everyone,

Could someone please explain me the difference between TYPE A and TYPE B dependent? At the time of sponsorship my brother was 21 years old and was in college full time. He is currently working and still single. \

So at the time of application he was under the age of 22 and also in school which is partially Type B. Help will be really appreciate. \

Thanks

Your brother was locked in as Type A.
