Family Class Sponsorship Application

Hello,

Does any one know how long it takes to hear back to CPC - Mississagaua for family class sponsorship applications? Our application was received at CPC- Mississagaua on 11/24/2008 but so far we have not heard or received any communication from the center. Is it normal? How longs it usually takes to get a file number or any reference to the application?

it depends wether the application is outland or inland if it is outland then cic mississauga will anwser u in 28 days but if it is inland then it can take from 6 months up to hear from them .

People being sponsored are overseas so in this case you mean to say that I should have heard from CIC by now?

salem , if your wife is living in canada and you are living in another country and so have applied through the outland application then its not normal you should have heard from them by now i think you need contact them
