Hello,

My partner and I intend to move to Canada in Feb of 2014. I am a citizen and will be submitting an application to sponsor my partner in December of 2013. I intend to apply as an out-side application due to the shorter process. My partner and I will then move in Feb 2014, my partner will be under a 1 year temp working visa (from New Zealand) so she can work for the one year while our application is processed.

When it comes to the part of the sponsorship application about proof of intent to move to Canada, am I able to explain that we will be moving before our application gets approved under a different visa (temp working visa). Will this have any impact on our application.

Many thanks for any help anyone can give.

If there's not enough room on the form, type up your explanation on a separate page with the form # at the top, then attach it to the form. I don't think it should affect your application in a negative way. They want to be sure you will come if they are putting in all this work, so it will more likely help you.

If you have already booked your airplane tickets or have some kind of job offer and anything from Canada to show proof of you moving there it would probably help. I included a short letter of my plans and got my brother to write a letter stating he knows of our plans to move and is willing to help us. I got my dad's boss who is a C.A. and knows of our plans to move back to write a letter. Last, since I'm studying, I included a letter of acceptance from CMA Alberta and noted that I must move back to Canada to do my work experience needed to get my designation.

in my case we send my wife job contract copy and her family support letter and we got approval our case.

All that we provided was a single "family support" letter and a letter from us explaining our plans. We had NO other evidence to offer.
