Family class- Received AOR

Hi

My application was received on Dec 19th and I received AOR mail today (Jan 10th).

My question is as follows:

1) Let us say, I missed something in my application- say, i missed writing my spouse's name in the first application IMM 0008 where they ask for consent to release information. Now since i received AOR, can I assume they are not returning my entire application or ask me for that form redone? Or do I have to wait for sponsor approval for this fear of mine to be put at rest?

Reason I ask is- I do not want to lose another 28 days or 34 days and have to get back to the end of que.

Pl advise.

If it's in form 0008 they won't look closely at that until after they've done your sponsorship approval, since that is part of the applicants form. Likely what would happen is they would notice the oversight and have your wife complete another and then move along with application.

I received an AOR from Mississauga and my file was still returned to me. The good thing is that if it does get returned to you there is a sticker in the package with your officers ID # on it so that when it goes back you don't have to go back in the waiting que, it will go directly back to the officer for approval.
