Extra text getting hidden | Background Declaration form | New SS package

Hi,

You must have seen that you can type a long length in the text box provided where you have to state your job title/ activity etc.

Question: I am writing STUDYING, 3 YEARS OF DIPLOMA IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING. I don't know if this right to write in detail or not, but if it is, then the extra text after a certain length is getting hidden at the right end of the textbox. HOW TO FIX IT?

I assume you mean form IMM0008, Question 1 in the Education / Occupation detail section?

You need to abbreviate sensibly - how about 'Student - Software Engineering Diploma - 3 Yr' - seem to work pretty easily!

No it's IMM5669. Either way, I should write something that comes in fit in the tedtbox, right?

It would help to mention the form and question number in your post, but to answer the question - Yes - they only want your occupation.

If you feel it is vital to add extra information and it doesn't fit in the box, you can always create your own additional pages, reference this in the main form and add extra detail there, I did this on my own application for a few of the forms - I ended up with three or four appendices

I would just put Studying at university / college (as appropriate).

Maybe you can post a screen as to how it's getting cut off? When I try it, the text box allows me 2 lines of text and has an automatic line break at the end. There is no issue with hidden text.
