External student applying for PR???

Hi,
I have been looking out for a possibilities on applying for PR in Canada (BA external student from Guj University) with 8-9 years of working experience. I'd be glad if some of you could help me with your valuable inputs.

Well, I am applying for my PR through WES and for that transcripts are a must. I've approached a few immigration consultancy here, and they have all given me mixed opinions. One mentioned to me that being an external Gujarat university student, my degree stands invalid and the other consultant told me that Gujarat university is a recognised university. If we can't get through WES we can try through ICCRC. I have all my degree certificate and mark sheets. My only question is that am I not eligible for a PR with an external degree? If I ask the consultant to start processing for registration and even if I get credentials verified, there is a possibility of being rejected due to my external degree and if I'm eligible, can someone please help me with the exact procedure of how to go about with the credentials?

Thanks for your response Preet. I have done my bachelors in arts (mains pol science)-duration of course 3-years and I have a degree with me from Guj university
