Hello Everyone,
I have been working in Canada for 1.8 years and My ICT-Long term work permit is going to be expired on April 1st 2018, but I have the confirmation of PR(CoPR) and landing documents available and it's valid up to 10th August 2018.
I am holding off on landing as I am going to get married in March and i am planning to continue on work permit so that my spouse will get the dependent (/visitor visa) easily otherwise if i become PR, I heard it's very difficult to bring spouse on visitor visa.
Could you pleas help me and let me know whether we can apply to extend work permit when we have CoPR available. I heard CIC will reject work permit extensions when we have CoPR available.
