Extension for ITA received on 2nd Nov 2016

Hi,

I believe a few people who received an ITA on 2nd Nov 2016 have received an extension of deadline due to some issues in CIC's payment site.

I too had received an ITA on 2nd Nov. However have not received any such communication. Can someone who has received such a mail confirm when they received the extension i.e. was it after uploading all the documents and trying to make the payment or was it even while their document upload is pending ?
