Extending Visa after new passport issued

Hi all,

First off thanks to everyone for taking a look at this.

I’m currently in Canada on an Open Work Permit attached to my partner’s Student Visa. When we renewed our visas last year, my extension was issued until my passport expiry which is 6 months or so earlier than the date my partners student visa was extended to (this was noted in the additional information section on my visa).

I now have a new passport and was hoping to have my visa extended to match my partner’s. I was wondering if anyone could share details on what I need to do to set this in motion?
