I'm in the process of applying for the extension of my stay as a visitor. My current visa expires a day before my girlfriend (Canadian citizen) and I will be able to declare Common-Law status, which is why I need visitor status so that I can apply for permanent residency with her as my sponsor after we become Common-Law.
I've been trying to apply online, because the processing times are a lot faster but I'm running into issues. I've been using this cic.gc .ca/english/ information/applications/visitor.asp as a guide, but according to the document checklist (IMM5558E) I need documents that I'm not able to upload in mycic.
This is the document checklist online:
Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Visitor or a Temporary Resident Permit Holder (IMM5708) (required)
Proof of Means of Financial Support (required)
Passport (required)
Digital photo (required)
proof of paid fees (required)

I can't upload my current immigration document (that would be my work permit) or the document checklist, instead they are asking for a digital photo. Am I missing something here? Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
