Hello everyone, my husband and I submitted a sponsorship application for me to stay in Canada. After we submitted the application, I also applied for a spousal open work permit. It's been almost a year since the sponsorship application was submitted and there has been little movement. And now my work permit is about to expire. Am I able to extend the work permit the same way that I originally applied for it? Is there anything else that needs to be submitted (i.e. the acknowledgement letter like with the original application)?
