Extending PGWP - as Outland applicant

Hi,
I was previously given PGWP till my passport expiry. Now, I would like to extend my PGWP to get the remaining period of the three years. As I am currently residing outside Canada, is it possible to renew it? Do I still need to mail in paper application to Canada or the Canadian consulate in my residence country?

You cannot renew a work permit outside Canada so not sure how you can extend PGWP outside Canada. Call IRCC and ask.
