Extending a 8 months course to a 2 year program

Hello,
I have a question regarding a 8month certificate program i am interested in.

It a 8 month logistics course from seneca, the only option to upgrade it to a degree course is through a transfer program in USA, details are below.

Will such a international transfer make me eligible to get a 3 year work permit in canada?. if no can i do another 8-12 month course in canada to make me eligible for a 3 year work permit?.

No, as you will attending a US school.
 
thanks, that was my understanding too.

But can i add one more year course/diploma/certificate in Canada(make it a 2 year education) and then get a 3 year work permit?.
Or does it have to be a two year masters degree only ??.
