Hey everyone!
My boyfriend is from Poland and he has been here for nearly six months (the maximum time he is allowed to). We were wondering if it's allowed and possible to extend his visitor visa for longer? Does it usually get accepted? Alternatively, would he be able to go to th U.S. border and "flagpole" (ask to be rejected entry into the U.S. and be sent back to Canada, renewing his visa again for 6 months)?
Thanks everybody

He should apply to extend his visit from within Canada - yes, this is allowed. Higher risk of refusal if he goes to the US boarder and attempts to flagpole.
