I graduated practical nurse course and got license of BC. I am a casual LPN at the long care. My Working Permit is post graduation working permit. I want to extend it because it is expired on October 2, 2012. My boss is my sponsor and submits LMO letter. I have been waiting for more than 2 months. Can i get LMO letter? I'm so nervous :(. What if I can not get LMO letter?
BTW, I still have student permit which will be valid until March 2013.

LMOs can take up to 5 months. I personally spoke to a woman last winter that waited 6 months for hers.

If you cannot get the work permit (you'll need that too) before your PGWP expires, you won't be able to work until you get a new work permit.

I'm too worried about getting a LMO letter because I just have a casual position. But my sponsor makes sure that I work 30hrs/week.
