Extend Visa for a few months

HI All,

My wife's application is approved . she is required to land by Apr 2018 . We want to go together with kids and Apr is still school time in my country .

Is it possible we can ask Canadian immigration office to extend the Visa to Sept 2018 ? We can go together with kids and kids start school in Sept .

If yes , should we write a letter to local country Canadian immigration office ?

CORP expiry dates typically cannot be extended (it's use it - or start the process again from scratch). However you can certainly ask.

Your wife should plan to land before the expiry date of her visa in April. She can then return home immediately and permanently relocate to Canada in September as planned.
