Hi,
I have just got master from UofT, looking for job and preparing documents for OOPNP-without job offer but there is a problem about my permission to stay in Canada.
My study permit is going to expire on 31 June 2012.
My Post Grad Work Permit is going to expire on 1 Sep. 2012
So I'm planning to register in an undergrad program at Faculty of Arts and Sci by taking Mandarin Course : EAS101Y1 Modern Chinese I for Students with Prior Background[24T/48S] and some Chemistry subject. Meantime I also continue my part time technician job at lab in UofT.

Could you share you idea whether I can extend my study permit with the above plan and how long my new permit will be, 1 year ?

If I take some course in the School of Continuing Studies for 6 months instead, will CIC allow to extend my study permit ?

Any other way to continue my stay in Canada ? Getting job here is not easy at all without PR.

Thanks.

1. Probably going to have difficulties as it won't be full time studies.

Hi,

1. This one might work if it's a full time program.

Thanks PMM and enfield.
Full time undergrad means I need to enrol as full time student and register at the minimum courses, right ?
