Extend Study permit Funds

Hi,

I am a student of open studies(1year program) and my visa is until october, 2015. I have been accepted to course Licensed Practical Nurse (2 years program) starting next fall(2015) and I will need to renew my visa before my program starts.

I will be able to pay all my first year tuition of Licensed Practical Nurse + 6kcad in my bank account, and my wife has a full time job (open work visa) and I have a part-time job.

Is this sufficient or I have to prove more money?

1. YOu will need to show more funds. Your spouses income in Canada will not be counted. So you will need to show 1 years tuition, plus living expenses for 2 people.
