I applied to extend my study permit and for an off-campus work permit at the same time in a single application. I received the letter of approval a week ago. Today, I received the physical study permit. To my surprise, the off-campus work permit was not in the same mail as the study permit.
My question is, how does CIC process such kind of bundled application? There are two scenarios that I can think of:
1) they approved both study permit and off-campus work permit and mailed both documents at the same time while these two documents were mailed in two separated envelopes. In this case, the off-campus work permit should be received soon.
2) they approved my study permit and mailed the document while they were still processing my off-campus work permit. In this case, I might have to wait for a while to receive my off-campus work permit.
Anyone made the same kind of application before? Or does CIC provide information on this? Thanks.
