My wife is American so she can stay in Canada up to 6 months, no visa. But the spousal sponsorship application is taking awhile, as most of you guys are aware. Actually, she's done her biometrics and medical, so hopefully it will be quick now. Anyway, it's been 4 months since we last crossed the border, so I'm thinking we either cross the border again and/or apply for an extension to stay. Is there a separate category/application to extend stay for people who have a spousal application on process?
