I got one year post grad work permit (open work permit) which will expire on Nov 2019. I have been working full-time for an employer since the beginning of my permit (NOC - A job). My job has no end date and so it is permanent. Can I extend my open work permit or apply for an employer specific work permit (for current employer)? Do I need LMIA to extend it? What are the other options to extend my stay in Canada?

You cannot extend your PGWP.

Your employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can convert to a closed work permit.

Thank you. How to check whether my employer is eligible to apply for LMIA? What are the requirements and procedure?
