Currently, I am holding a valid study permit. Recently, I filed an application of expression of Interest (EI) through Arrima portal on August 25, 2020. I got the following confirmation message:

The Department has received your expression of interest. A copy of this has been placed in the “My documents” section of your Arrima profile.
Note that only the profiles that best meet the needs of Quebec will be invited to submit an application for permanent selection.
If a change occurs in your situation, we ask you to make the necessary updates to your expression of interest.

I thought it completes the EI application. But they sent me the following notification on November 14, 2020 (however I miss their message)

A request for the filing of an expression of interest was prepared on 2020-08-25, but has not yet been submitted to the Ministry. You have until 2020-11-23 to submit it, failing which, the Ministère will delete this request.

Finally I got the following message on November 24, 2020

Your Expression of Interest update has been removed from your account because it was not filed within the 90-day period. However, the last version of your declaration of interest, which you had already submitted, remains valid.

Can anyone help me to understand what was the problem with my EI application? And what can I do now?
