Entry level Civil Engineering in Canada I am a Civil Engineer in U.S. I graduated from UMASS Amherst and have been working since January 2021. This was my second time going through H1B lottery and I did not get selected. I am working towards moving to Canada through express entry or do masters here. Doing Masters here gets more complicated https://routerlogin.uno/ . I currently do not have EIT. Can any of you please advise me towards a job in Canada. I have been working in the construction industry but I am willing to pursue any field as long as it allows me to stay in Canada. Writing this with my hopes crushed by H1B lottery. My OPT expires in January 2025 so I still have one more try but I am not counting on that. Please help me out.

Would I be exempt from Ielts?

Do I need to get my degree accredited since it’s a U.S. University?

Do I really need a job offer?

What are my chances of getting a PR?

No, you are not exempt from IELTS.

Yes, you need to get your degree accredited.

You don't need a job offer but you do need to have enough points without a job offer to be selected.
