Hi All,

I received my iTA on January 22, 2020, and I have 2 years of foreign work experience in the past from two different employers. I have received all my work experience letters from my current and past employers. I was told that my experience letters from two different employers should have different formats. Otherwise, the application may be rejected because it may appear that I wrote these letters instead of the employers.

The letter formats are similar because I drafted the letters and got them signed by the HR departments of my past employers. Should I get fresh letters from my previous employers with different formats?

I have only 10 days left to submit and I am worried about this after collecting all documents. I would appreciate any comments/advice on this matter.

Thanks.

Not required. I had submitted my letters with a similar format and got my PR approved..

Thanks a lot for the response, Pavan23. This is a huge relief for me. Just to add to the above, these jobs are from different NOC codes - 2161(statistician) and 1122(management consulting). The first job was focussing on analytics projects but I later moved to another job focused more on strategy consulting.

Were your letters from different NOC codes as well? Also, how long did it take for your PR application to process?

Thanks.

THey can be different NOC codes, specially if you did 2 different jobs

But with the same format, correct dr.josemrod?
I don't think they would mind, especially if you explain in LOE that you provided employers with sample formats because of the specific nature of the request and the contents of the letters. Make sure they both have the contact information of the person that's elaborating these.
