Hello,

Guruprasath from Bangalore India. Aged 29 and with 7+ years of experience.
I am having 417 CRS points and applied under NOC 2141. I am among the pool since August 2015.
I have also applied to NSNP and PEINP. Couldnt apply to any other province due to ineligibility and not having friends/ relatives contacts.

Do we see any brings prospects for Express Entry applicants waiting in pool next year?
Its been an years since i am in the pool and have given 3 attempts in IELTS and couldnt better my score.
I have no idea how to improve my score to stand a chance of getting an ITA.

Welcome your inputs

Hello,
does anyone know what type of jobs are in demand in Onatrio? Going by past data, has it been O, A or B that have seen the most ITAs?

OINP just considered the CRS above 400 to send PT. and it was not NOC based. They might come out with some changes in November when they announce 2017 quota.

what were your individual ielts scores ? if listening is less than 8 or any of the other is less than 7, then score takes a beating... you should try for revaluation particularly if its for writing or speaking, get that extra 0.5 which can make a difference...

The answer is clear. If you really want to have a better chance you have to get CLB 9 on your IETLS.

Cheers ;)

Looking at your scores it is easy to say that you are based on luck for Speaking and writing. For reading and listening you have improved.

If you get that extra .5 band you will hand 467+ which could mean an ITA within next few draws.

My advice, do spend 35 hours of training for speaking and 35 hours for writing. these 70 hours of intensive training will reduce your wait of years to few weeks.. Do not give up on IELTS. if you start loosing age marks then it will be irreversible damage.

+1 for the positive comments...
just to reiterate - in speaking or writing if you are 0.5 points behind, APPLY FOR REVALUATION... i have seen several cases where score was bumped up by 0.5 points, and incase there is a change in scores they even refund the reval fees

In my opinion re evaluate your last attempt and retake the exam as well while working on your writing and speaking skills, you are almost there so dont loose hope but practice well, then you can choose from the 2 results,i took the exam 3 times myself plus 2 re evaluations so dont loose hope and start studying

You can still try to appeal against your listening score from the 2nd test. Other than that all you can do there is try over and over until you hit a good combination of test where you manage it.
Unlike others I do not see real improvement there (apart maybe training yourself in the the reading section). As last time you got back the lower score for speaking and writing it rather points to the theory where they try to hit down on score of people who do the test 1st time (you have change the testing company there), just to force them to come back again.
The only thing that is proven by that score is almost no difference beween CBL 7 and CBL 10 (for practical every day usage).

Re-evaluation for speaking and writing are the only two skills that may be liable to change. The other two are either right or wrong answers. Unless you feel strongly that a marking error was committed, focus your efforts and money on tutoring and retesting. Search on forum and online for ways people were able to break through the road block. See if there is a more effective way for you to learn. My friend had to take the test four times before scoring CLB 9 and three 10's. All the best.
