Hi all,

I'm an Australian citizen married to a Canadian living in Singapore. Looking to start the Express Entry process soon. I am wondering if there is a time limit placed on how long before you need to move to Canada?
If you are invited to apply and then your PR is approved do you need to go straight away? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Nathan

Before your medical expires i.e. within one year from the date you got your medical examination.

1, Is there a reason why you are applying under EE rather than having your spouse sponsor you?

I believe EE is a lot faster than sponsorship

That's correct. Sponsorship seems longer with needing my spouse to apply to become a sponsor etc first before I can apply.
We are both working in Singapore as teachers at International Schools so curious as to how long I have once approved, as cant just up and leave mid year.

1, Then I assume you have over 450 points or more to get an ItA.
