Express entry - Spouse IELTS score mandatory?

Hi,

I recently gave the IELTS and scored 8.5 overall. I plan to apply under express entry along with my spouse and I am getting a score of 457 approx without my spouse's IELTS score. Is it mandatory that my spouse would need to give the IELTS too to apply under express entry? Is this score good enough to get an ITA or would it be preferable for my spouse to give IELTS and then apply with a higher score of 469-471?

IELTS for spouse is not mandatory.. And your score of 457 is good enough for an ITA.. Create an EE profile and enter the pool asap.
