Express Entry, Proof of work experience , previous Job

HI Guys,

I have a question in regard to proof of work experience for my previous job.

I worked at this company from August-2014 to Sept. 2015, my reference/experience letter was requested/signed/dated in August -2015 while I was still working there.

I would like to know if it's okay to provide this letter as is OR I need to request a new reference letter from my previous employer
